  • Do you take trade-ins against the cost of my New Dock or Lift purchase?

    A. Yes, in fact, trade-ins help supply our ‘Used Dock & Lift’ inventory.

  • Can you pick up and deliver my boat back to me when the repair is finished?

    A. Yes, we can and will no matter the location: Dock, lift, landing, storage, another repair shop, marina, your yard…and deliver it back.

  • Can I send you pictures of my boat for an estimate?

    A. Yes. Send them to info@lakesidesimplicity.com and we will contact you.

  • How do I get my boat repaired?

    A. Bring it by the shop. Give us a call. Fill out our ‘repair form’ on line.

  • How Long will my boat repair take?

    A. Naturally, that depends on the work that needs to be done. However, we will give you an estimated timeline and do our best to stick to it. If it changes, we will contact you as soon as possible. 

  • How much will my repair cost?

    A. That depends on the severity of the damage or the extent of the project. Each repair/project is different and requires a different approach than the last. Lakeside will estimate the cost and do our best to stick to it. If it changes, we will contact you before proceeding.

  • Can you contact my Insurance Agent with the estimated repair cost?

    A. In fact, we prefer to work directly with your insurance adjuster while they and us keep you in the loop and leave the hassle to us.

  • Can you get all the parts for my brand of boat?

    With today’s internet we can and have shopped for and found any part needed. Most parts, however, are available locally or the manufacturer.

  • Can you paint my boat the same color or a custom color?

    A. We specialize in color matching and work with the full color spectrum specific to your boat/pontoon/PWC/Trailer.

  • Can you put my namesake/decals back on my boat?

    A. Yes. We can obtain them from the manufacturer or have them made locally.

  • Do you have used boats or pontoons for sale?

    A. Generally, we have a few each year but plan to expand this area going forward.

  • Do you repair PWC’s and other recreational watercraft?

    A. Yes, we do. We also offer New & Used PWC lifts.

  • Can I drop off/pick up my boat on weekends?

    A. We are available on weekends and have ample space for boat/watercraft drop offs and pick-ups. 

  • What are the shop hours?

    A. Shop hours are generally 8AM to 5:30PM but these parameters get stretched quite often. We are here to service our customers and with the short Minnesota boating season, we want to be there to keep you boating/fishing.

  • What are the on call hours?

    A. 24 Hour. See previous answer.

  • Do you take credit cards?

    A. We accept all major credit & debit cards. Our mobile unit does not have that capability, however.
